Corning, New York, September 22, 2014

The price of admission to the Corning Museum of Glass covers two days, which is good. The museum is pretty overwhelming. There’s a lot to see, and the layout had me often confused as to where I’d been and where I wanted to go.

On day 2 we started at the Rockwell Museum of Western Art. Yes, that’s a little weird with my coming from Arizona, but the museum was pretty interesting. And I found an addition to my small owl collection, a Navajo folk piece from Arizona. It’s the first time I’d seen an owl — usually the carvings are horses or roosters.

I’ve given up on the photos….
